About the Show

Craig Revel Horwood stars in the UK tour of the beloved musical about an orphan adopted by a billionaire.

Set in New York in the 1930s, young orphan Annie is forced to live a life of hardship & hard work at Miss Hannigan’s orphanage. Her luck changes when she's chosen to spend Christmas with famous billionaire, Oliver Warbucks. Meanwhile, spiteful Miss Hannigan hatches a plan to spoil Annie’s search for her forever family …

The UK tour of this beloved family-friendly musical includes classic songs such as 'It’s The Hard-Knock Life', 'Easy Street', 'Tomorrow', and 'You're Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile'.

'Strictly Come Dancing' star Craig Revel Horwood takes on the role of Miss Hannigan, with musical theatre actress Jodie Prenger filling in on Saturdays.

See it if You enjoy the story and songs. Family musical great for kids. Child cast were outstanding - better than some of the adult cast.

Don't see it if It felt very long - too long for smaller kids. Some baggy boring bits in the second act.

“For all its flaws, Strouse’s music is beautiful and ‘Tomorrow’ brought me to tears, as it should...Glitz and easy endings take precedence in this version of the story, and whilst they are executed with great aplomb – for which choreographer Nick Winston should take a large amount of credit – the result is slightly cloying, and leaves you wanting more.”
