New gardener’s garden comes alive with playful bird, bee, and delightful sensory interaction.
A tender, sensory-rich experience unfolds as a new gardener tends a garden, planting and watering in a gentle rhythm. This intimate performance reveals the subtle wonders of nature as a bird and a bee join the gardener, inviting the babies to discover garden sights and sounds. After the performance, parents and little ones remain together for a thoughtfully designed stay-and-play session.
The production was created and directed by Sarah Argent and co-created (and originally performed) by Kevin Lewis, both known for their engaging early-years theatre works. Designer Valentine Gigandet and lighting designer Ceri James shape the visual and atmospheric elements. Production is overseen by manager Nick Allsop, and the Welsh translation was crafted by Branwen Davies to deliver the bilingual experience.
