Simon Stephens adapts José Saramago's novel into a unique theatrical experience.
José Saramago's story about a world in which everyone except for one woman suddenly goes blind is delivered to the audience through headphones. An inventive sound installation at the Donmar Warehouse in which the audience are socially distanced and there are no performers on stage. Adapted by Simon Stephens (The Seagull, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time).
