A festive family pantomime featuring show-stopping songs, comedy, and a magical fairy-tale twist.
Set in Hammersmith as the clock strikes midnight, this festive family production reimagines a classic fairy tale within a contemporary theatrical frame. The story follows a familiar journey shaped by transformation, timing, and magic, unfolding against the heightened atmosphere of a pantomime setting. As events build toward the decisive moment at midnight, the narrative blends fairy-tale structure with humor and spectacle designed for audiences of all ages.
The show is written by Joel Horwood (The Ocean at the End of the Lane, I Want My Hat Back), who returns to the Lyric panto following his 2016 adaptation of Aladdin. Direction is by Robin Belfield (Princess Essex, Anansi The Spider), whose work frequently focuses on family audiences and imaginative storytelling. Together, the creative team brings a new iteration of the fairy tale to the Lyric stage.
