Entertaining, Cliched, Energising, Flashy

See it if You like a loud show full of Pet Shop Boys music, nice bodies and some great oneliners. Nice vocal performances

Don't see it if You expect a decent script or cant stand flashing lights.

See it if Good music and vocals, and a great use of the venue.

Absurd, Raunchy, Ridiculous, Trash, Trashy

See it if you like your trash HOT. Also, Frances who for many represents something wonderful and iconic and therefore represents a homecoming.

Don't see it if you don't like a book glued with gossamer thread, paper-mache characters and no logical plot development. See more below. Read more

Disappointing writing, Great design

See it if you're a Pet Shop Boys fan and want to see a production of a show they wrote the music for.

Don't see it if you want to see a well-written piece of theatre.

Pumpin', Fringe-y, Ribald, Frothy, Shameless

See it if This is a terrific version, staged perfectly in spite of the wobbly mics. The cast are having fun and Ruffelle leads it with aplomb.

Don't see it if It's dated enough that it's almost come around again, and the uneven book is just a coat-hanger for impassioned PSBs karaoke. But I love it. Read more
