Deep-Heat Rivalry follows Shane Hollandaise and Ilya Stroganoff, two professional ice hockey players whose fierce on-ice rivalry and mutual antagonism conceals something neither is prepared to acknowledge. As their clashes intensify, so does the tension beneath them, until the boundaries between competition and desire become increasingly difficult to maintain.

Written and directed by Oliver-nominated Trevor Ashley, the production is a parody musical loosely inspired by a hit television series, combining locker-room drama, forbidden romance, and a score spanning power ballads and party pop. The show makes no claim to sporting accuracy, trading instead in shameless comedy, innuendo, and theatrical excess.
