A cult-hit improvised comedy where a performer builds a live “mind palace” with the audience.
The show is an improvised solo performance structured around the live construction of a “comedy mind palace.” Working in direct collaboration with the audience, the performer develops a shared imaginary architecture in real time, using suggestion, narrative leaps, and improvisational logic to shape the unfolding piece. Each performance is distinct, determined by the collective choices made in the room.
The production is led by veteran improviser David Elms and returns following sell-out runs at Soho Theatre and the Edinburgh Fringe. The show has been described by Phil Wang as a process of building a comedy structure live onstage, emphasizing form, collaboration, and immediacy over scripted material.
