A dark comedy about a scruffy company of actors set in 17th century England.

What doesn’t come through strongly is a resonance with the modern world. There’s not much to connect the 17th-century actors’ problems to those of today...Nevertheless, for sheer silliness and gross-out humour, I can see this being a big fringe hit.
