This hilarious comedy follows twenty-somethings Sally, Nat, and Kyle as they develop a deep passion for Northern Soul culture and the community surrounding it. What began as a college assignment evolves into a driving purpose, though the demanding dance steps prove exhausting. Leaving their hometown of Hull behind, the trio discovers excitement, direction, and the sense of community they have sought. Their journey as devoted "soulies" takes them to iconic venues, including Bridlington Spa, Stoke, London, and the Blackpool Tower Ballroom, driven by a commitment to "keep the faith."

The play presents the Northern Soul scene for a new generation while drawing parallels between contemporary societal challenges and those of the past.
