About the Show

Two photographers chase the mythical Firewing, testing trust, ambition, and truth.

In a rundown lakeside cabin tucked away in the English countryside, renowned wildlife photographer Tim prepares to take on Marcus, the newest in a long line of unsuccessful protégés. Though Marcus arrives with little skill and even less experience, Tim senses there’s something unusual about him—something that makes him wonder whether this apprentice might finally be worthy of learning the techniques he’s spent his life perfecting.

As the two set out in search of the mythical Firewing, their pursuit pushes them to confront how far they’re willing to go for a creature that may exist only in rumor. With each photograph they attempt, Tim and Marcus must grapple with what’s visible, what’s hidden, and what truths are deliberately left outside the frame.
