FLUSH takes place over a single night in the women’s bathroom of an East London club, where fourteen women navigate brief encounters, personal revelations, and fleeting connections. The space becomes a setting for confessions, makeup touch-ups, and moments of vulnerability as characters intersect in both comedic and dramatic ways. Stories range from teenage confusion and coming-of-age experiences to the challenges faced by queer and trans individuals, American newcomers, and groups of friends celebrating life’s milestones.

The ensemble piece uses fragmented storytelling to capture the simultaneous chaos and intimacy of the environment, tracing experiences related to careers, relationships, identity, and emotional resilience. Billie, a central figure, experiences a pivotal moment of self-discovery that mirrors the shifting dynamics and layered narratives around her.

Winner of a Fringe Theatre Award at the 2025 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the production employs a fast-moving, multi-perspective structure to examine the intersections of sisterhood, vulnerability, and humor.
