About the Show

A verbatim drama asking the vital questions raised after the 2017 Grenfell Tower disaster.

Based entirely on the words of those involved in the final phase of the Grenfell Tower Inquiry, 'Grenfell: System Failure' interrogates why the disaster that took the lives of 72 people happened, and why politicians failed to ensure proper oversight. Through the testimonies of bereaved residents, Richard Norton-Taylor and Nicolas Kent's drama explores how they were failed by the Fire Brigade and abandoned by the local authority in the chaos of the fire’s aftermath.
