Colourful, Lively, Good cast

See it if you like the American cult film Heathers. Dark humour & nasty characters. I felt it was more like a parody of itself. The audience loved it.

Don't see it if you are triggered by gun violence/bullying/uncomfortable subject matter/ offensive language - not suitable for children/young teens

There's no doubt that Heathers the Musical is in excellent shape, delivering some unexpected narrative twists, great music and dedicated performances. Those heading to The Other Palace expecting a typical teen musical with light-hearted fare will be in for a shock. And having a disruptor like that as part of our theatrical landscape is definitely a welcome addition.

Christina Bennington is terrifically energetic as protagonist Veronica, skilfully navigating a clumsily written part that positions her as both the show’s sardonic narrator and its conflicted emotional heart.
