The Bromley Little Theatre's new adaptation of Ibsen's drama.
Hedda Gabler has recently married an academic named George Tesman. Although George loves her deeply, Hedda feels bored and trapped in their marriage, and begins to manipulate and torment those around her. She becomes obsessed with Eilert Lövborg, a former lover who has recently returned to town and tries to control his life by manipulating him and destroying his manuscript. Her actions ultimately have tragic consequences for both herself and those around her.
Jessica Ann Jenner directs this new adaptation.
