A play about four Black queer friends navigating love, faith, and identity in London.
Inspired by the life of writer Emmanuel Akwafo, this new play is set in London and follows four friends—Joseph, Monday, Nathaniel, and Mohammed—as they navigate relationships, sexuality, religion, and masculinity in a society that often misrepresents them. Blending humor with candid exploration, it draws on personal experiences to depict the intersections of culture, race, and queerness, offering a portrayal of resilience within Black queer communities.
