I’m Every Woman – The Chaka Khan Musical traces the life of Chaka Khan, from her early years through her rise to international fame. Set against the backdrop of a five-decade career, the show explores Khan’s personal and professional journey, including her relationships with fellow artists like Joni Mitchell, Prince, Stevie Wonder, and Robert Palmer. The story highlights both her chart-topping success and the struggles she faced behind the spotlight.
The production is written by Nia T. Hill, directed by Racky Plews (Footloose, American Idiot), and choreographed by Jade Hackett (The Bodyguard). It features songs from Khan’s 22 albums, including hits such as “I Feel for You,” “Ain’t Nobody,” “Tell Me Something Good,” and “Through the Fire.”
