The production invites audiences to an unconventional dinner set along the riverside, where seating blurs between spectator and participant. Language and interaction become the site of play, as meaning slips and reverses over the course of the meal.

Created by the company behind French Toast (presented at Riverside Studios in 2024), the piece draws on the words and works of Eugène Ionesco. Staged as a limited run, the work adapts Ionesco’s absurdist principles to a site-specific, immersive format that places audience members inside the action rather than observing from a distance.
