A portrait of Judy Garland’s final London concerts, led by Jinkx Monsoon and Rupert Hands.
Set in London in 1968, the play centres on Judy Garland as she prepares for a new series of performances at the Talk of the Town. Balancing public adoration with private volatility, the story follows her attempts to control her career, her relationships, and her dependency issues while navigating the pressures of returning to the stage.
The production is written by Peter Quilter, whose play End of the Rainbow has been staged internationally and later inspired the film Judy (2019). It is directed by Rupert Hands, and features Jinkx Monsoon, a two-time winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race and a Broadway performer, in the role of Garland.
