A father and daughter connect across Earth and Mars amid environmental collapse.
Set in 2077, the play follows a father and daughter separated by planetary distance as Earth faces environmental collapse and humanity begins resettling on Mars. Their relationship unfolds across millions of miles, tracing the emotional strain of distance alongside questions of survival, migration, and familial connection.
The work is written and directed by Tiago Rodrigues (Artistic Director of the Festival d’Avignon), whose previous works include By Heart and The Cherry Orchard.
Performed in French with English surtitles, the production incorporates design by Émilie Chen, set design by Fernando Ribeiro, and original music and sound by Pedro Costa.
