Billie Trix, a fictional rock icon, screen goddess, and confessed addict, narrates her extraordinary life in MUSIK. The story spans post‑war Berlin, the Vietnam War, Andy Warhol’s Factor,y and a decade spent in a Soho phone box, linked by her unapologetic monologue and six original songs by Pet Shop Boys.
Frances Barber reprises her award‑winning role as Billie Trix, a part she first created in the West End musical Closer to Heaven (2001). The script is by Jonathan Harvey (Beautiful Thing, Coronation Street) and the musical score is by Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe of Pet Shop Boys. The production is directed by Josh Seymour and produced by Billie’s Trix Ltd in association with Cahoots Theatre Company.
