Shakepeare's "Romeo and Juliet" features a speech about a magical archaic being who toys with mortals in their dreams. Danielle Pearson's play takes that intriguing depiction and applies it to a contemporary world in the midst of a pandemic. Queen Mab finds herself drawn to the teenage Freya as she mourns the loss of fun and freedom in lockdown. Music accompanies this coming-of-age story which merges the mythical with the harsh realities of youth. Georgie Staight directs.
