About the Show

Emerging LGBTQIA+ artists, Pink Sky, present their debut show about queer identity and community.

The safe spaces where friends Rosy, Tommy and Kit used to find sanctuary in are under threat. As cracks start to appear within their friendship group, they try to find a way to heal and transform in order to survive.

A three-person play which combines spoken word poetry, movement and drama to depict queer life in contemporary East London. An exploration of gender identity, non-conformity, the politics of polyamory and self-expression.

The debut play by LGBTQIA+ collective, Pink Sky, who take an interdisciplinary approach to making queer theatre.

"Told through a mash-up of poetry, dialogue and verbatim text, Leydon dovetails each of these forms into an engrossing and entertaining drama. Its loose structure somehow reflects the chaotic lives of the trio but there’s also discipline in the writing and performances. Not a moment is wasted and there is a palpable sense of urgency as the story unfolds."
