Based on true events, Ripples follows a young man whose plans for the future are abruptly interrupted when he receives notice that he is to be deported. Forced away from the life he has built and separated from his family, he finds himself navigating a system marked by surveillance, bureaucracy, and uncertainty.

As he confronts the possibility of losing everything familiar, he struggles to maintain a sense of identity and dignity while challenging the forces determining his future. Written by Tafadzwa Muchenje and developed with director Rosie MacPherson, the play examines migration, belonging, and the resilience required to endure institutional injustice.
