The production presents two plays in dialogue, set in contrasting environments that reflect an atomised city. One unfolds backstage at a gig, where an emerging pop band navigates rivalry, ego, and buried tensions as secrets surface under pressure. The other takes place inside a women’s prison, where an unexplained, forbidden presence begins to grow, disrupting the fragile balance of control and survival. Together, the stories examine how individuals respond to systems that shape and confine them.

Written by Simon Castle and Somebody Jones, with a prologue and epilogue by Nusrath Tapadar, the production is directed by Guy Hodgkinson. Performed by an ensemble cast, the work connects themes of vanity, addiction, labor, and resilience across its dual narratives.
