Each performance creates a brand-new hip-hop musical from scratch, based on a historical figure or celebrity selected by the audience. The cast improvises the songs, scenes, choreography and story during the performance, making each version different from the last.

Adrien Pellerin serves as Musical Director and plays keys. A musical comedian and pianist, Pellerin has music-directed improvised musicals with Baby Wants Candy at the Edinburgh and Adelaide Fringe festivals and has worked on Blank! The Musical at Green Room 42. His screen work includes the Comedy Central series Night Crew and Adult Swim's STAYDIUM.

The production is presented by Baby Wants Candy, the musical-improv ensemble behind the show. The company has performed completely improvised musicals internationally and has appeared at festivals including the Edinburgh Fringe and San Francisco Sketchfest. The London run follows sold-out performances at the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe and 2026 San Francisco Sketchfest.
