Set over the course of a single morning, the play follows Fiona, a novelist approaching public recognition, and her husband Ivo, a once-celebrated actor whose career has stalled after professional scandal. As Fiona’s new book gains attention for its confessional qualities, Ivo begins to question whether her rising success is entwined with his own undoing. Their private reckoning exposes fault lines between authorship and ownership, intimacy and self-preservation.

The play is written by Alba Arikha and directed by Myriam Cyr, making its world premiere at Playground Theatre. The cast is led by Maryam D'Abo (The Living Daylights). Loosely inspired by Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? and Scenes from a Marriage, the work examines how personal narratives are shaped, contested, and weaponized within a marriage between two artists.
