Lover Girl follows Temi, a self-proclaimed Lover Girl who, despite her devotion to romance, remains perpetually single. The show is a surreal and self-indulgent solo work in which Temi turns her attention inward, constructing a theatrical love letter to herself and inviting the audience into her world of longing, humor, and unapologetic self-regard.

Directed by Ragevan Vasan, the production returns following sell-out runs across the country. Two Black Out Night performances are scheduled on 5 and 19 November, each followed by a post-show discussion — dedicated performances creating a space for Black-identifying audience members to experience the show and engage with its themes free from the white gaze, a concept originated by playwright Jeremy O. Harris.
