The stage adaptation of Christy Lefteri’s best-selling novel following the journey of Syrian refugees.

Nuri - a beekeeper - and his wife, Afra live surrounded by family & friends in the Syrian city of Aleppo. When everything they care about is destroyed by an unthinkable war, they are forced to leave Aleppo. On their terrifying journey, they must face the pain of unbearable loss and discover new connections with friends, families, and strangers.

Nesrin Alrefaai and Matthew Spangler have adapted this Aspen Words Award-winning novel for the stage. This production is directed by Olivier Award-winning director Miranda Cromwell.
