Bath toys take flight on rescue missions in a playful puppet adaptation of the Julia Donaldson book.
When the household empties for the day, a group of bath toys springs to life, embarking on airborne adventures in a magical flying bathtub. As they travel from place to place, the toys use their water-filled skills to help animals in trouble, from washing a muddy piglet to extinguishing a fire for a frightened baboon, all while racing home in time for the children’s bath.
The production is adapted and directed by Samantha Lane, based on the picture book by Julia Donaldson and David Roberts.
Set and puppets are designed by Emma Tompkins, with lighting design by Sherry Coenen. The show is a Little Angel Theatre production, created specifically for early years audiences and performed at the company’s Islington venue.
