Set during a period of economic crisis, the play follows Labour politicians Roy Jenkins, Denis Healey, and Tony Crosland as they clash over the future of British socialism. Behind closed doors, ideological debates and personal ambitions shape relationships between three influential political figures whose decisions would leave a lasting mark on British politics.

The play is written by Robert Khan and Tom Salinsky, whose political drama premiered to critical acclaim in London. It is directed by Kirsty Patrick Ward (The Great Gatsby, The Unfriend) also includes set and costume designer Libby Watson, lighting designer Jamie Platt, and sound designer Dominic Brennan.

Produced by Cahoots Theatre Company, the production visits Richmond Theatre from 13 to 17 October 2026 as part of its national tour following its London premiere.
