A battle of seasons to restore balance in a world of eternal winter.

The Holly King, master of winter, snow, and darkness, and the Oak King, ruler of summer, warmth, and light, clash twice yearly to determine the dominant season. During one extended winter, the Holly King triumphs, plunging the world into relentless cold and darkness. Can the Oak King rise again to restore seasonal harmony, or will the world remain in an eternal freeze?

Inspired by an ancient Celtic folktale, The Holly King and The Oak King is a new festive experience at Battersea Arts Centre, guiding you through a magical exploration of nature's balance and our changing world.
