Funny, Entertaining, Cliched, Dated, Absorbing

See it if You like a light comedy about mistaken identities

Don't see it if You find it off putting that Victorian women were vacuous and some pedophilia with the protagonist sending love letters to an underaged girl

See it if You want to see great acting, support an independent theatre company with great actors, amazing scenography, all in a more intimate theatre

Don't see it if You might struggle to listen as they can speak really fast

Hilarious, Intelligent, Funny, Delightful, Absorbing

See it if You enjoy the fantastic Oscar Wilde text, staged through the lens of the experiences and presence of people of colour both then and now.

Don't see it if The language is unaltered from the original, so it may be difficult to follow the complicated wordplay if English isn't a first language.

See it if I loved the acting and the contemporary additions to the play. It was witty and I loved the great values given to the Black Victorians.

Don't see it if I loved all of it.

“It is the cast themselves that make this play such a joy to watch. Indeed, there was no weak link in the play and the cast delivered the farcical scenes with energy and charisma. “
