Anthony Spargo’s new musical panto retelling follows a young mermaid’s journey above the sea.
This new musical retelling of The Little Mermaid follows a young heroine whose fascination with the human world leads her into a fateful bargain with the Sea Witch. When she trades her voice for the chance to walk on land, her journey takes her beyond the safety of the sea and into a realm where discovery, risk, and consequence collide.
The production is written by Anthony Spargo, a longstanding Greenwich collaborator and winner of Best Script at the British Panto Awards 2025. It reunites the creative team behind Dick Whittington and His Cat and the five-star production of The Three Musketeers, bringing their signature approach to this summer staging.
Presented as a limited seasonal run in Greenwich, this adaptation blends classic story elements with the style and humour associated with the company’s previous pantomime works.
