Immersive theatre, close-up magic, and live music set at a magician's memorial.
Set within the private performance space of the late magician and carnival owner Dieter Roterburg, The Magicians Table unfolds during a memorial gathering held in his honour. Combining narrative theatre with close-up magic, the production follows a story of love, loss, and mystery as guests encounter a succession of world-class magicians performing mere inches away. Live music and immersive staging form part of the experience, with performances taking place both around the audience's tables and throughout the venue.
The production is written by Iain Sharkey (longtime collaborator and co-writer on numerous Derren Brown stage productions), who also serves as Executive Producer and Magic Director. Performance direction is by Geoffry Colman, whose theatre credits include Everybody's Talking About Jamie, & Juliet, and Cinderella, alongside extensive work as an acting coach for film and television. The production is produced by Right Angle Entertainment, with creative consultation by Sheena Patel, co-creator of Time Run and Sherlock: The Game Is Now.
