Set in a magical kingdom, this production follows the magician Herr Drosselmeyer as he attempts to save his nephew, Hans-Peter, who has been turned into a Nutcracker doll by the evil Queen of the Mice. The enchantment can only be broken if the Nutcracker defeats the Mouse King and finds a girl who will love and care for him. During a Christmas Eve party at the Stahlbaum home, Drosselmeyer meets Clara, a young girl who may hold the key to breaking the spell. With the help of Drosselmeyer’s magic, the evening transforms from a festive gathering into an otherworldly adventure.
