A heartwarming stage adaptation of Benji Davies’ tale of friendship, courage, and a little lost whale.
The Storm Whale tells the story of Noi, a young boy who lives by the sea with his father and six cats. One spring, while his father is away fishing, Noi discovers a baby whale stranded on the beach after a storm. He brings it home to care for it, forming a bond that leaves a lasting impact on his life.
When winter returns and his father sets out on one final fishing trip, Noi finds himself alone once again, yearning for the return of his ocean friend. As he watches and waits through the cold season, he wonders whether another storm might bring them back together.
This stage adaptation combines Benji Davies’ stories The Storm Whale and The Storm Whale in Winter into one theatre production. The show explores themes of friendship, loneliness, and hope, capturing the emotional depth and visual charm of the original books.
