Lette is an inventor who is about to give a major presentation that could alter the course of his career. Just before he's about to take the podium, he’s told that there is something ‘wrong’ with his face. The fact is that he's so ugly, no one has ever thought to mention it to him.

Desperate for help, Lette goes to a surgeon who offers him a drastic transformation. The result of Lette’s surgery puts him on a path of fame & fortune, but is it possible to become too beautiful? 

'The Ugly One' is a dark comedy tracking Lette's descent into darkness.
