Great singing, Cliched, Entertaining

See it if You like watching original fully sung musicals

Don't see it if You are looking for anything new in terms of the content. Pretty cliched if you ask me

Intense, Entertaining

See it if you want to watch two talented young actors. The Instagram Tango is very clever.

Don't see it if you want a bit of nuance or variation. Almost everything is performed at peak emotion / power ballad level. You feel shouted at. Read more

The Stage (UK)

“...this light, low-stakes new musical hangs a clutch of catchy, bombastic songs on an overstretched, often tiresomely preachy plot...Director Gerry Tebbutt sweeps through the material at a breakneck pace, and his lively choreography ensures the show never feels static.”

West End Best Friend

“The primary shortcoming lies in the incoherent writing which achieves only a superficial exploration of a myriad of topic areas without satisfying audience expectations...The songs by Novello are forgettable and the musical direction by Niall Caserly keeps the competent voices of the performers at a constant extreme with raucous belting or fast-paced tongue twisters that become jarring and leaves the audience unsettled.”

“ ‘The Verge of Forever’ is an enjoyable, engaging watch with stand-out songs and vocals that are executed beautifully, It just didn’t quite deliver what was promised.”
