A tense two-hander by Morgan Lloyd Malcolm about revenge and childhood scars.
Heather and Carla have not seen each other since school. Years later, they meet in a café, their lives having taken markedly different directions: Heather appears outwardly successful, while Carla is struggling financially. The polite reunion shifts when Heather presents Carla with a bag of cash and a proposal that forces both women to confront the lasting impact of their shared past. The play unfolds as a tightly constructed two-hander, charting a series of revelations and reversals.
The play is written by Morgan Lloyd Malcolm (Emilia), first staged at Hampstead Downstairs in 2015 before transferring to Trafalgar Studios in the West End. This revival is directed by James Haddrell, with design by Jana Lakatos. The production is presented by Greenwich Theatre Productions in association with CultureClash Theatre.
