A festive family play where riverbank friends face a weasel threat at Christmas.
Set by the river and in the Wild Wood, this stage adaptation follows Mole, Toad, Ratty, and Badger as their close-knit friendship is tested over the changing seasons. Their shared life of comfort and companionship is disrupted by the rise of Chief Weasel, whose schemes place the future of Toad Hall—and Christmas itself—at risk. As Toad’s impulsive behavior creates new dangers, Mole is forced to confront his own shyness in an effort to protect his friends and their home. Adapted from Kenneth Grahame’s novel, the production is written by Rob Evans and features a professional cast performing alongside members of Rose Youth Theatre.
