Linda Purl stars in this dramatic adaptation of Joan Didion's novel which explores grief.

At first, John Gregory Dunne and Joan Didion thought that their daughter, Quintana, just had the flu. Little did they know that she had pneumonia which had developed into septic shock - shortly thereafter, she was placed on life support. Just days later, John & Joan were sitting down to dinner when John suffered a fatal heart attack.

'The Year of Magical Thinking' is Didion's attempt to make sense of death and illness, and serves as a universal portrait of marriage and life.

Linda Purl ('Happy Days', 'The Office') stars in this production, which is recommended for ages 16+.

See it if you like something a little different. bringing out ideas and expressions in a medium other than reading

Don't see it if want something fast paced. or are expecting an emotional internal shift from the performance
