Top Gun: The Very Unauthorised Parody reimagines the 1986 aerial blockbuster as a one-man show, in which a single performer attempts to restage the film's signature dogfights, romance, and action sequences while simultaneously telling the story of a father and son whose shared love of the movie is the one thing they can agree on. The production marks 40 years since Top Gun's original cinema release.
Written and performed by Richard Marsh — London poetry slam champion, BBC Audio Drama Best Scripted Comedy Drama award-winner, and Fringe First winner — the show is directed by Hal Chambers with movement by Emma Webb. The creative team previously collaborated on the global hit Yippee Ki Yay.
