Set behind the bar of a London pub, the play unfolds over the course of a single night as a landlord and landlady serve drinks, mediate arguments, and listen to the lives of their regulars. Stories of celebration, grief, love, and loneliness emerge through a series of encounters, while a lost boy searching for his father forces the couple to confront their own unresolved past and strained relationship.
