A musical about Violet, a young disfigured woman, who embarks on a journey in search of a miracle.
Set in 1964, Violet travels from North Carolina to Oklahoma with high hopes that a TV evangelist can cure her. During her travels, she meets a black soldier and through their friendship, she learns more about love and self-acceptance. With music by award winning composer Jeanine Tesori (Fun Home, Caroline or Change, Shrek the Musical).
