Stage adaptation of Chris Haughton’s penguin tale with acrobatics, BSL, and creative captions.
Set in the snowy Antarctic, this stage adaptation follows Mummy Penguin on a daring quest to bring home dinner for her family. Little Penguin and Daddy Penguin watch anxiously as she swims through icy waters, scales treacherous cliffs, and slips past grouchy seals. Inspired by the natural behaviour of penguin parenting, the story celebrates resilience, teamwork, and family bonds.
Based on the picture book by award-winning writer and illustrator Chris Haughton (A Bit Lost, Oh No, George!), the production is created by the team behind the award-nominated stage version of Oh No, George! The adaptation combines storytelling with physical theatre, integrating sign language and creative captions throughout the performance.
All performances are BSL integrated and creatively captioned, making the production accessible to a wide audience.
