While drunk, Bobby (the Earl of Harpenden no less) meets an American soldier and invites him to use his room. When sober, the American soldier sets his sights on Bobby's fiancée and he isn't the only one with ideas about the beautiful Lady Elizabeth. Much chaos and mistaken identity follows with each new arrival on the scene.
