While the invention promises global transformation, its fate is contested behind closed doors. As corporate interests clash with ethical responsibility, stolen samples, covert alliances, and divided loyalties set off a chain of events that extends from a private lab to a public hospital.

The story follows Max, the scientist behind the discovery, as he opposes his superior’s plan to sell the cure exclusively to wealthy clients. 

The production is written by Lloyd Evans, whose previous work includes Dom – the Play and Who’s the Daddy?, and is directed by Matthew Parker. It is produced by Lumbago Theatre Company, continuing their focus on contemporary plays that explore social and ethical dilemmas through darkly comic storytelling.
