See it if I never want this show to leave. A show to cure the blues.

Don't see it if Perhaps it's possible some don't like ABBA. These people I'm unlikely to know but they probably exist.

“The songs of ABBA take centre stage in this riotously fun musical about a young woman trying to find out who on earth her dad is...The star-studded 2008 film...only bolstered the success of the original source material, which offers a bonding evening for mothers and daughters everywhere. It’s an evening packed with hits that you already know all the words to, from Dancing Queen to Waterloo, but it’s also a heartwarming story of unconventional families and rekindling lost love.”

The Guardian (UK)

“Ten years on, ‘Mamma Mia!’ – a love story set to Abba songs – still doesn't rival Sophocles, but it remains as stonkingly, wonderfully, unbelievably good as the first time I saw it...Apart from having some of the finest pop songs ever written, ‘Mamma Mia!’ is the ultimate feel-good tale of love conquering all. It is completely uncynical and consistently compelling – it's the perfect show for someone who says they don't like theatre, or who ‘doesn't do musicals’.”

Time Out London

“Some of the songs are oddly static, but when the choreography does get going it's terrific...The current cast appear to have been chosen more for their singing voices than their serious acting ability. But who needs dramatic conviction when you have purest pop to do the convincing for you? Given the songs, a story just about solid enough to stay upright on its platform's impossible not to fall for 'Mamma Mia!'s’ twinkling charms.”
