A family musical where toys come alive overnight to save their shop from redevelopment.
Set inside a toyshop after hours, the story begins at midnight, when the toys awaken and reveal a hidden world of motion and purpose. Their routine is disrupted when plans emerge to demolish the shop and replace it with a technology-driven experience center. As time runs short before morning, a group of toys band together to protect their home and argue for the continued place of physical play in children’s lives.
The production is presented by Perform Productions and features a book and score built for family audiences, combining musical numbers, dance, and character-driven storytelling. The narrative contrasts imaginative play with digital innovation through figures such as Belle Ballerina, Rebel Racer, and Grumble the Dinosaur, using ensemble performance to explore themes of friendship, creativity, and change.
