A new production of a wartime musical tracing love, loss, and survival across years.
Set during the final days of the Vietnam War, the musical follows Kim, a 17-year-old forced to work in a Saigon bar, where she meets and falls in love with an American soldier, Chris. Their relationship is cut short by the fall of Saigon, separating them as chaos unfolds. In the years that follow, Kim embarks on a journey of survival, driven by the hope of reuniting with Chris, who remains unaware that he has a son.
This new production of Miss Saigon is presented by Cameron Mackintosh in association with Michael Harrison. Featuring a score by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg, the production opens for a limited season at the Prince Edward Theatre in London.
